Introduction of BYOM wireless conference function of BJCast multimedia collaboration system

The following is a detailed description of the wireless conference connection, pairing operation steps and function introduction of Bijie Multimedia Collaboration System (BYOM):

Wireless conference connection and pairing operation steps

1. Preparation

  • Device requirements: Ensure that the BYOM host, display device (e.g. TV/projector), and user end point (phone/computer/tablet) are on the same LAN (or connected via BYOM’s Wi-Fi hotspot).
  • Accessories check: HDMI cable, power adapter, BYOM host (some models support USB-C direct connection).

2. connection step

Method 1: Wireless screen projection (mainstream method)

  1. BYOM host connected display device

    • Connect the BYOM host to the monitor/projector using an HDMI cable, and power on to start.
    • After the host indicator light is on, the screen displays the BYOM system interface (including pairing QR code or SSID information).
  2. End point device connection BYOM

    • Mobile phone/tablet/computer:

      • Connect to the same Wi-Fi network as BYOM (or scan the screen QR code to access the BYOM hotspot directly).
      • Turn on the screen projection function (e.g. Miracast, AirPlay, DLNA, or use the BJCast).
      • Select the corresponding BYOM device name to complete the pairing.

Option 2: Wired connection (optional)

  • Connect directly to the computer through the USB-C/HDMI cable and automatically recognize it as an external monitor.

3. Pairing confirmation

  • The first connection requires the 4-digit pairing code displayed on the input screen of the end point device (some models support scanning code pairing).
  • After successful pairing, the end point screen content is synchronized to the conference screen in real time.

Introduction to core functions

  1. Multi-platform wireless screen projection

    • Support Windows/macOS/iOS/Android present on all major platforms wireless screen projection, compatible with AirPlay, Miracast, DLNA and other protocols.
    • Split screen display: Support multi-end point simultaneous screen projection (such as 4 split screen comparison demonstration).
  2. BYOM(Bring Your Own Meeting)

    • Seamless access to mainstream cloud conferencing software (Zoom/Teams/DingTalk/Feishu, etc.), audio and video are transmitted through the BYOM host to enhance conference stability.

  3. 4K ultra high definition transmission

    • Support 4K@30Hz video output, HDR optimization, adapt to high definition conference scenes.

  4. Low latency and anti-interference

    • Using the 5GHz band for transmission, the latency is as low as 80ms to avoid getting stuck.

  5. Meeting collaboration tool

    • Whiteboard annotation, file sharing (direct screen projection PPT/PDF), remote control (large screen operation through APP).

  6. Enterprise Security

    • Data transmission encryption (AES-128), support MAC address filtering, guest mode management.

  7. Extension interface

    • Provide HDMI/USB-C/USB-A interface, support external cameras, microphones and other peripherals.
