Mirror Android screen to TV
There are a few ways to mirror your Android screen to a TV:
1. Built-in Cast Feature (Chromecast Built-in)
- Many Smart TVs have built-in Chromecast support.
- How it works:
- Find the Cast icon: Open the app you want to cast (like YouTube, Netflix, etc.). Look for the Cast icon (usually looks like a Wi-Fi symbol with a TV).
- Select your TV: Choose your TV from the list of available devices.
- Start casting: Your phone’s screen will be mirrored to the TV, and you can control playback from your phone.
2. Miracast
- Miracast is a wireless display standard.
- How it works:
- Enable Miracast on your TV: Check your TV’s settings for a “Screen Mirroring,” “Wireless Display,” or “Miracast” option.
- Enable Miracast on your phone: Go to Settings > Connected devices > Connection preferences > Cast (or similar).
- Select your TV: Your phone will scan for available devices. Select your TV from the list.
3. Using a Streaming Device
- Devices like Chromecast, Roku, or Amazon Fire TV can easily mirror your Android screen.
- How it works:
- Connect the device to your TV: Plug the streaming device into an HDMI port on your TV.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Connect the streaming device to your home Wi-Fi network.
- Use the device’s app: Download the app for your streaming device on your phone.
- Mirror your screen: Follow the instructions within the app to mirror your phone’s screen to the TV.
4. Using an MHL or HDMI Adapter
- If your phone has an MHL or USB-C port: You can use a special adapter to connect your phone directly to the TV’s HDMI input.
