Mirror your iPhone screen to your Fire TV
While native AirPlay support is limited on most Fire TV devices, there are workarounds to mirror your iPhone screen to your Fire TV:
1. Using a Third-Party App (like BJCast)
- Install BJCast: Download and install the BJCast app on your Fire TV device.
- Enable AirPlay: Follow the on-screen instructions within the BJCast app to enable AirPlay mirroring.
- Mirror from Your iPhone:
- Swipe down from the top-right corner of your iPhone’s screen to open Control Center.
- Tap “Screen Mirroring.”
- Select your Fire TV device from the list.
- Swipe down from the top-right corner of your iPhone’s screen to open Control Center.
2. Using an HDMI Cable
- Connect your iPhone to an HDMI adapter: Use an Apple Digital AV Adapter (or a compatible third-party adapter) to connect your iPhone to an HDMI cable.
- Connect the HDMI cable: Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to an available HDMI port on your TV.
- Select the Input Source: Use your TV’s remote to select the corresponding HDMI input.
Important Notes:
- Third-party apps may have limitations: Some apps may have performance issues or require in-app purchases for full functionality.
- HDMI Adapter: This method provides a wired connection, but it may not offer the same level of convenience as wireless mirroring.
