Mobile Screen Projection – Solution to Win10 Computer Failure in Mobile Screen Projection

1. Check if your phone and computer are connected to the same WiFi, and ensure that the WiFi frequency is consistent, both at 2.4GHz or 5GHz. If inconsistencies are found, connect to the same WiFi and try projecting the screen again.

① On the mobile end, click on Settings ->Wireless Network ->Connected WiFi to check the WiFi frequency.

② On the computer side, click on the WiFi icon in the bottom right corner of the taskbar ->Properties to view.

2. Check if the computer is set to power on to discover and project the computer.

Click on the connection in the bottom left corner of the taskbar below the desktop ->Project to this computer

Turn on the computer or turn off this option to search for the device again for screen mirroring.

3. Check if the Microsoft Wi Fi DirectVirtualAdapter is disabled.

Right click on the taskbar window button ->Device Manager

Right click on My Computer ->Properties ->Device Manager

Directly search for “Device Manager”

Find “Microsoft Wi Fi Direct Virtual Adapter” in the network adapter, right-click and click on “Enable Device” to search for devices again for screen mirroring.

4. Check if the SSDP service and WMPNetworkSvc service are enabled.

Search for the service directly, right-click on the corresponding service, click on start, and search for the device again for screen mirroring.

5. If there is a problem with the display projection, simply turn off the computer’s firewall.

Directly search for “firewall”

Right click on the taskbar window button ->Settings ->Network and Internet ->Window Firewall

Click on the WiFi or Network button on the taskbar ->Network and Internet Settings ->Window Firewall

Click on the dedicated network/public network, close the firewall, and search for the device again for screen mirroring.

6. Check if the graphics card/network card driver supports Miracast.

For specific viewing methods, please refer to the previous section “How to check if your Win10 computer supports Miracast wireless screen mirroring function?” If the driver does not support upgrading, you can proceed. If the computer is equipped with an integrated graphics card or a standalone graphics card, if either is not supported, enable the supported graphics card for screen mirroring.
